A Progressive Faith Community

United Christian Church of Levittown

Welcome! No matter who you are, or where you are on your life's journey, you are welcome here!

Believers, doubters, seekers, and those questioning, are all welcome in our community of faith, as we unite in Jesus' name in our common quest to be the visible manifestation of a love-centered,  justice- seeking, Christian, community of faith.

Statement of Equity and Justice

As a progressive community of faith, United Christian Church recognizes our position of power and  privilege in the lineage of the Church which has contributed to the marginalization and oppression of groups of people such as Black and Indigenous people of color, the LGBTQIA+ community, women, the disabled and neurodiverse, immigrants, the poor, and those of other secular and faith traditions, in addition to the destruction brought to the natural world which we have sought to control.

We repent and seek to repair the harm done throughout this history, ancient, modern, and current, and instead enter relationships that will flourish with hope and healing and bring about a world that is equitable and just for all and in which everyone is able to experience a life of abundance and love.

Open and Affirming

We affirm the dignity, worth, importance, and personal gifts of all people—inclusive of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnic background, marital status, economic circumstance, and/or difference of ability. As we continue to learn and grow in understanding, we pledge to provide a safe, supportive community in which all persons—as they share in worship, fellowship, and leadership—may find the guidance and love of God in their lives.

Each of the events below offer opportunities for participation in person or online through Zoom.

Adult Forum

Sunday  9:00-10:00 AM

Topic: My Journey to United Christian Church

We will be sharing our stories of life events which we believe brought us to UCC – be they religious, spiritual, secular, psychological, political, personal, or collective experiences. Join us each week as 1-2 members of the congregation are interviewed, so we can understand and appreciate their unique struggles and gifts they bring to United Christian Church.

Sunday 10:30-11:30 AM

Each Sunday morning we gather as a community of faith to explore what our faith calls us to do in the modern world. Each of our clergy in residence rotates through as the speaker in turn and we also have speakers from our community or the nearby area with unique perspectives.

Sunday 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Immediately after worship we join with one another for a time of conversation and fellowship. We’ll spend around 15-20 minutes sharing and connecting. We hope you’ll come (or stay)!
