Building Use During COVID-19
Important reminders for church events:
We are requiring that everyone who comes will be fully vaccinated, from age 12 up.
Wearing a mask will be optional.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available.
We observe appropriate social distancing.
Worship is “hands free.”
We will continue using the same safety precautions as before as we once again test the waters, as well as monitoring the situation to reduce the restrictions as soon as it is safe.
Each of the events below offer opportunities for participation in person or online through Zoom.
Sunday 9:00-10:00 AM
Topic: "White Too Long" by Robert P. Jones
Discussions on a variety of possible topics. Your input will be very helpful to determine the direction the Adult Forum will take. Recent topics have included: anti-racism, white privilege, sex-positivity, and critique of capitalism.
Sunday 10:30-11:30 AM
Each Sunday morning we gather as a community of faith to explore what our faith calls us to do in the modern world. Each of our clergy in residence rotates through as the speaker in turn and we also have speakers from our community or the nearby area with unique perspectives.
Sunday 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Immediately after worship we join with one another for a time of conversation and fellowship. We’ll spend around 15-20 minutes sharing and connecting. We hope you’ll come (or stay)!
Church Council Meeting
Second Sunday of Every Month, 12:00 - 1:30 PM
As a congregationally-run church with denominational roots in the United Christian Church (UCC) and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) [DOC], our business is conducted by the Church Council on the second Sunday of every month. This meeting is open to all members and friends of the congregation.
Women to Women
Tuesday 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. via Zoom
The "Women to Women" gathering is a time for self exploration, prayer, and tapping into our personal spirituality as we reflect on a devotion, poem, or topic. Leadership is shared in this group and the topics change weekly as they are selected by the leader. Contact the church office for further info on joining the group.
